  • Thank You To All My Subscribers

    Hey!

If you are reading this it is probably because you are 1 out of the 141,958 subscribers to this blog. To refresh your memory, music galore was a website that hosted html codes for music so that you could put a song onto your xanga or myspace profile or could log on and listen to over 1 million songs and watch over 500,000 music videos for free without downloading anything. This was all before youtube, pandora and other well known music sites came out.

I started Music Galore in 2003 and it reached its peak of popularity in 2005 when I was only 18 years old and it was even ranked as the number 16,000 most popular website in the US according to Alexa.com. Unfortunately my inexperience and the changing times with technology sent Music Galore downhill and it eventually went obsolete in comparison with our competitors.

I could go on and on about the success I had with Music Galore and its downfall but that's not why I'm writing this. I am this blog post for one reason, to say Thank You. Thank you for being there and supporting me back in the day and making Music Galore the place it use to be. I appreciate all of the loyal fans and just want you all to know Music Galore holds a special place in my heart and I will never forget all the fun I had with you all. You subscribers are the people that made me and molded me into the person I am today and I thank you for that.

Before I finish this email I just want to give you the opportunity to connect with me on Social Media before this site is shutdown for good.

As for me, some of you may know back in May of 2011 I was in a pretty miserable place with my health and fitness and decided to make a change after seeing an infomercial for P90X. I ordered P90X and Shakeology and dropped a lot of weight, 30 pounds. Followed that up with Insanity and dropped another 7 pounds, Followed that up with The Ultimate Reset and lost 10 pounds and lost a total of 55 pounds.  It was a lifesaver for me and I decided I wanted to return the favor and share it with the rest of the world. So I created LetsGetToned.com so that I could share my struggles through P90X and eventually included more beachbody programs such as Insanity, Ultimate Reset, Rev Abs, Les Mills Combat, Focus T25 and more. I created the website based to not only help people but to also give them free tips, advice, motivation and more on their fitness journey. I really really believe that if a computer geek like me can complete P90X that anybody can.

If anybody out there is reading this, I encourage you to visit my blog LetsGetToned.com and send me a message. I would love to be your FREE coach and help you get through a fitness program or help you with your fitness and nutrition!

Thanks again everybody, I love you all and I really hope you take me up on the offer to chat with each other on social media sites. I really would love to hear from my music galore supporters from back in the day!

  • Music_Galore - Blast from the past

Wow! I was finally able to get the password for this website. I have been locked out of it for years because it was set to an old email I couldn't remember and a password I could not figure out. Thank you to the team at Xanga for getting me the site back!

I really do not know where to begin here, I first have to say it's sad to see this community isn't near as large as it was back when Music Galore was popular.

So so much has changed in the 10 years since this account was created... I was 16 then, I'm now 26.

Unfortunately Music_Galore is long gone and not coming back, it was an incredibly fun ride though!

I have moved on to bigger and better things but just wanted to let you all know that I am incredibly grateful for all of you that made it what it was.

    Thank you Xanga
